The Greater "Kent Service Club Association" strives to promote the overall membership of all local service organizations.  We understand that a person who wishes to "serve" their community may have differing needs and interests, or availability of when you can attend.  Therefore we want to provide you will the choice of all of our organizations.

Just check out each of the listed service organizations, contact each one, visit their meetings, and then make your choice.  Certain membership restrictions for each organization applies.

We want you to just "serve" our community and enjoy yourself, no matter which organization you choose.

Lions International main service projects are sight and hearing conservation, including diabetes outreach.

In addition, the Kent Lions Club locally produces "Kent Cornucopia Days", the largest family festival in South King County.  They also provide service to seniors, families, youth, and veterans.  Some projects include: collection of eyeglasses and hearing aids, providing eyeglasses to youth, providing hearing aids, youth sports teams, youth organizations support, food bank support, scholarships to youth, numerous sponsorships of local festivals and events.

The Lions motto is "We Serve".

Membership requirements:  Membership is open to men and women of legal majority ( age 18) and good reputation in the community, and is by invitation only from a Lions Club member.

Membership requirements:  Membership in a Rotary club requires available business or professional classification opportunities as well as an invitation and sponsorship by a member of the club.

Soroptimist's main service project is domestic violence.  And it's Mission is to improve the lives of women & girls.

Membership requirements:  A woman must be engaged in a management or professional capacity or in an occupation of comparable status or comparable responsibilities.  Membership is by invitation, extended on the club level.  Please inquire at the above number.

Nearly 100,000 women in about 120 countries and territories.
