By far, this park is the best park ever!!!!

There is a pond with ducks and a water fountain that flows through the playground into the pond during the summer. There are large stones, logs, and even small stones, so you can walk across the little stream. You can even bring a boat to float in the stream but you have to careful, so the boat does not go into the pond. On the little island that is in the center of the stream, there is a pirate boat that you can climb on.
Above the playground, there is the longest slide that I ever saw. It curves around and it is fast. Also, above the playground, there is a water pump that you can use to make water go down the hill. You can build dams to make the water go down into a small puddle. It's fun to pretend that you are camping or fishing or being a pirate.
There is another playground area in this park. It has a swing that can go up and down as well as around and around. A walking cyclinder to walk in, roll in, or hang on. Also, a round merry-go-round to get dizzy on or just lay down and look at the sky.
And I wish that you could play with me in the park.

The Trippstadt Playground

This was the first campground that we visited in Germany or even in Europe. The first experience was not very pleasant because we were not ready to go camping and it rained a lot.
This was also the first campground that we visited on our first real camping trip in Germany. Erika has many pleasant memories about this campground. We played miniature golf or mini-golf as the Europeans call the game. It also has a neat playground constructed to resemble a fort.

Fountain at Mainzer Tor in Kaiserslautern

Because this fountain is only 2 blocks away from our apartment, we go to visit it often. Also, one hot summer day, while we looking for apartment, we looked at an apartment nearby the fountain. We saw many young children playing in the fountain, getting wet and cool. Erika really wants to visit this fountain when it gets hot again.
