The main reason that we drove to Leichtenstein was to get our passports stamped. Actually many people go to Vaduz for that purpose.
The first thing that one needs to do is to find Leichtenstein on a map. It's a very small country - 2km (15.6 miles) by 6km (3.75 miles). With a magnifying glass and a good map of Europe, it is possible to find Leichtenstein between Austria and Switzerland. With Chris' excellent sense of direction and geography, we had no trouble finding little Leichtenstein.
After getting our passports stamped, we were pleasantly surprised by the Stamp Museum. The Liechtenstein stamps are beautiful - works of art. The Leichtenstein government keeps many illustrators well-fed and housed by employing artists to create beautiful stamps. There are a wide variety of styles represented in the stamp collection.
